Welcome to Sunnyside Brookswood Family Daycare
Sunnyside Brookswood Daycare is a fully licensed in-home multi-age facility. We offer a full pre-school program with lunches, and 2 snacks, which meets the Canadian Food Guide requirements. We also provide nutritional drinks as well. I , Fiona Randall ,am the owner/manager and educator who provides the child care for all the children at Sunnyside Daycare as well as teaching the preschool program. I am also a mother of two school-age girls and one young child.
I have completed my Sanitation Program for Food Handlers( Food-Safe) , have an up to date criminal record check, and my St. John’s Ambulance Emergency First Aid Certificate. I am a qualified trained Early Childcare Educator with the Reggio Emila Approach influence, and further a trained Montessori preschool and kindergarden teacher
I believe that the first 6 years of any child’s life is the most important tender years of their lives and of great value. This is the most vital time of these precious little angels’ lives. Everything and everybody exposed to a child’s life have a direct influence on shaping and developing these children for the rest of their lives. This is why I have the passion to teach. I love children and have always wanted to work with children since I was a young girl. I want to be a good role model and have a direct positive influence on each child. One by which will foster and encourage individual personal growth and development, while following the child’s lead and creating a relaxing, happy environment for the all of the children to blossom. I want the children and families to treasure those stepping stones and memories experienced at Sunnyside Brookswood Family Daycare.
